Police and security experts agree that a well
lit home, both inside and outside, is the best first line of defense
against break-ins and intruders.
For instance, a motion sensor turns indoor and
outdoor lights ON whenever motion is dectected anywhere over it's 4,000
square foot coverage range. When the home security is activated, designated
lights flash to remove cover of darkness and call attention to the house.
When occupants are away, programmed light switching gives the home a
"lived-in look" that's less predictable than timer controlled
lighting.
